Complaint Review: lady sequin -
lady sequin Charged for products that weren't available. No customer service.
I placed an order for 7 things with this website. I was charged the day that I placed the order. After about 4-5 days, I started receiving items that I ordered on the same day through other websites so I decided to contact lady sequin to ask what was going on with my order. I emailed them asking about when I could expect my package. On 11/6 I received an email stating that they need 5-7 days to restock and that they would ship items once they were available.
I emailed them again 11/10 after giving them a few more days and seeing that my package had not yet been 'fulfilled' I asked them again, what the delay was and how I was charged for something that wasn't even ready and if could get a more specific timeline of when things were to be shipped. They responded with "the factory has delayed delivery". I resent them an email asking for them to answer my questions. At this time, they responded with 2 of the items I ordered were not available and were to be restocked around 11/16. (how they're able to charge you for things they don't even have in stock...blows my mind) But! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited.
On 11/17, I finally received an email stating that my shipping status has been updated. Checked online and saw that a 'shipping label was created, not yet in system". So, I figured they'd send it out in a few days. Checked every day for 4 days, NOTHING. SO! on 11/21, I sent them another inquiry asking how long a package needs to sit at their warehouse before getting picked up by the postal service. I also included my thoughts on how they shouldn't have been able to charge me until the actually sent out my items because now, if I ask for a refund, I'm probably going to have to wait another 5-7 business days for that to go through.
Their unbelievable response to me, 4 out of the 7 items that I have ordered are undelivered. And would I be needing a refund? RIDICULOUS!!!!!! They sent me a email saying my things were packed and ready for pick u on the 17th, now they're telling me that in actuality, it's not!? How is that ok!? I promptly sent them an email asking for an explanation and am currently waiting for a response. I've waited almost a month already. I want the items because it's to late for me to order it from anywhere else. But I don't think it's ok for this company to continue business with no consequences. I'm not sure where this business is located because none of that is posted on their website. Only a email is provided.
The responses that you get from their "customer service/support" is a poor excuse for any kind f service/support. They don't answer your questions and the way that they respond, I'm assuming English is not their strong suit. People need to know what kind of company this is before ordering. I wouldn't have ordered from this place if I had known it would take this long, but more so if I had known that they charge you for things that they do not have and expect you to just wait. Never again. This place needs to shut down.
