On May 25, 2020 I placed an order online for a right front seat belt assembly for my 2002 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. The online system took my order and, after a brief delay, it was shipped to me. I paid the shipping and an odd "coupon" charge that exactly matched the shipping charged of $14.01. The total cost to ship the part was $225.19. 

But when I tried to install it, I found that it was the wrong part! I contacted the company and they said it was too bad. I should have entered a VIN number. When I argued that a VIN number wasn't required since the system took my order. Everything I entered was correct.

I demanded a refund, but they refused. Then they told me to ship the part back (at my expense) if I expected any refund. I shipped it back at a cost of $13.00 and they received it two days later according to FedEx. Within nine minutes of receiving the part (in perfect condition) they emailed me to say they would not refund my money because I didn't ship it back in the original box!!

Due to COVID we don't bring any boxes into the house. We open them outside and bring the contents inside.

Two days later I received the wrong part back from the dealership. I'm now stuck with a part I can't use and I'm out $238.19 which the dealership pocketed.

 This dealership chain is VERY WELL KNOWN for all their CON-GAMES, bogus add-on, phony fees, out right lying to customers and ALL the other SLIMEBALL con-games well known in the Sleazy American Car Business! Why are you even doing business with this pond scum?
