Launch PR - Lynn Mooney Murrary Failed to Honor Contractual Payment for Launch In Bad Faith Operations Los Angeles California

To Whom It May Concern:

I am filing this complaint to bring attention to an unresolved matter involving Gelatissimo, The Launch PR, and Agency owner Lynn Mooney Murray regarding public relations services provided for the launch of the Gelatissimo franchise in Rogers, AR. Despite fulfilling my contractual obligations, I have not received full payment for my work and have encountered an uncooperative response from the parties involved.

Background:

The Launch PR, under the leadership of Lynn Mooney Murray, engaged me to perform critical public relations services for the launch from September 2024 to December 2024. I delivered all agreed-upon services, which played a significant role in the event’s success and the positive reception of the Gelatissimo brand in the area, which can be substantiated by press mentions, influencer coverage, client media reports, pictures, videos, and eyewitnesses. However, the PR firm and Gelatissimo have not compensated me for my efforts and have taken full credit for my contributions without acknowledgment.

Attempts to Resolve:

-I have contacted Nancy Yu, CFO; Scott Leith, General Manager of International Franchises; and the master franchisees. While they benefited from my work, they did not respond to my requests for payment.

- I have repeatedly sent invoices and followed up with The Launch PR and Gelatissimo for payment.

-My efforts to contact Brad Richter General Manager of Marketing for Gelatissimo were unsuccessful, as the server rejected emails to him.

Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this amicably, I have been met with silence and inaction even offers to settle for less than agreed upon hourly work. I have engaged legal representation and am prepared to take formal legal steps if necessary. However, I am also contacting consumer advocacy platforms to ensure other professionals and potential franchisees are aware of these negligent and predatory business practices.

My Request:

1. Payment of Invoices: Full payment for the services I rendered as outlined in the invoices sent to The Launch PR and Gelatissimo in the amount of $3,200 plus late fee interest to be received no later than 12/19 which is 7 days from the date of this report filing.

2. Public Accountability: Transparency from The Launch PR and Gelatissimo about this issue, including acknowledgment of my contributions.

3. Prevention of Future Incidents: I urge others to be cautious when engaging with these entities to avoid similar issues.

Documentation:

I have prepared a comprehensive summary of my work, supported by electronic documentation and correspondence. This includes all relevant invoices and communication records.

Next Steps:

I seek your assistance in holding these parties accountable and ensuring fair treatment. If this matter remains unresolved, I intend to escalate my actions, including filing legal claims and reporting this dispute on additional public and professional platforms.
