Leading Tax Group (LTG) presented themselves as experts in resolving tax issues with the IRS and California FTB. They told us that if we didn’t act fast and hire them, we could lose our home. In a panic, we sold stock to pay them nearly $100,000, creating new tax liability just to afford their fee.

Once paid, they never contacted the IRS or FTB on our behalf. The only action they took was filing our 2023 return—done by someone not even a CPA. Worse, they advised us to stop making payments to tax agencies, which pushed us further into trouble.
