Curtis Brown is a con artist, and Robert McPhearson is a crooked lawyer. Together, they form the perfect duo with their 6-year-running fraud venture, Licensing Experts. The way this company works is, Curtis is the good-guy, who uses a friendly demeanor and persuasion to sell you on their lies, and MCPhearson is the bad-guy, who uses legal threats to intimidate you into doing as they say.
Apparently, they have worked on numerous schemes in the past, from online marketing, to the infamous Benjamin & Benjamin company which has been mentioned in this website as well, look that up. What they do is they sell "business opportunities" to people looking for a change of direction in life. They take advantage of this, and the new-found demand for online education, and they SCAM people. In Licensing Experts, they use a "secret" Commercial Real Estate value-added play in order to lure in their victims. You can find out all about it in Curtis' one hour YouTube presentation, just look up in YouTube, "Licensing Experts" and you will find it. Here, Curtis comes accross as a friendly, humble, well-off guy who is very knowledgeable. It's a con. That's why he mentions that he flies planes, that's why he uses "dr." before his name (when he doesn't even disclose his academic history), and that's why his email address includes the word "gulfstream" in it. At the end of the YouTube video, you can find him driving around in a rental vehicle, wearing golf or "countryclub" attire. He conveniently adds that at the end of the video to boost his credibility. He's very good at giving off impressions, likely because he's been doing it his whole life. He's an old-school sleezy sales guy.
The reality of the situation is, his techniques don't work, he promises six figures in under 5 weeks, which is not possible under what he teaches. Oh did you know that he tells people that he is a BILLIONAIRE? Not only this, but did you know that, in his program, he teaches "manifestation" methods, and how, in order to acquire that six figure income that you signed up for, you have to meditate every morning and every night and see it, and then you'll have it. It's a lie, it doesn't work. Why? Because his method doesn't work. Send out their Purchase Sale Agreements to well meaning brokers, and you'll hear nothing but outrage. That's because they suck. These guys don't know what they're doing when it comes to CRE, they're just sharks and fraudsters looking to fatten their pockets by use of deceit.
Furthermore, they are running this scheme nationwide, and have been doing so for several years. Apparently, they have advertised also in Canada, making it international. Did you know that their Irvine office is a virtual office? They give off the impression that they work out of there, because it's a nice building, and even Curtis himself says "some of you guys once you make this money you even come down to the office and give me a hug!" newsflash, it's a virtual office. You can rent a virtual office with the same address yourself, just Google "Virtual Office 4000 Barranca Parkway , Suite 250 Irvine, CA 92604"
Oh, not to mention, they hire VAs from the Phillipines at $5 per hour and sell them as "co-mentors" to their prospective students who pay thousands of dollars to join. The VAs don't even know that they are doing this! They think they're just doing VA work! And the students think that their co-mentor, the VA from PH, has already made $800K in profits doing what they're about to do. Why? Because this is what Curtis tells his students! It's really that orchestrated, and that ludicrous.
What these dummies don't know is that all their wrongdoings have been documented, they're from a different generation when you could have gotten away with things like this. However, nowadays, everything has a digital footprint. All your emails, all your posts, all your conversations, all your Zoom sessions, all your videos, it can all be documented, and all it takes for your victims to connect. Every day there is more information from past students and even people who were affiliated with this company coming out and sharing their piece of the story, and it all adds up to: these two are a pair of fraudsters and should be prosecuted immediately.
