Lifegro Property Solutions Eugenie Strydom, refuse to pay back deposit Strand Western Cape

Do NOT book your holiday accommodation at Lifegro Property Solutions, Eugenie's Place, 703 Ocean View Apartments, Strand, Cape Town. You will come to regret ever taking that decision.

We decided to stay at the ocean for four months in the Strand, Western Cape, South Africa. Dates: 1 October 2024 to 30 January 2025.

We found Eugenie's Place, 703 Ocean View Apartments, Strand, Cape Town. 

We made a reservation and booking for four months to stay at Eugenie's Place, 703 Ocean View Apartments, Strand, Cape Town.

We corresponded with the Owner Eugenie Strydom of Lifegro Property Solutions and later met Renette Reyneke the Rental Administrator at Lifegro Property Solutions - Rentals & Hosting.

We spent R95 895.74 with them and there was hidden cost that we covered of Wifi R1400 + R4800 electrical power with them and at the end after we departed after the end of January 2025 they showed there true colours.

We have many pieces of correspondence that show there malice and bad intent.

There was no start of contract, baseline inspection.

The internet connection was off regularly because of non payment from there side.

We where forced to pay there property levy fees that was in arrears and not  reimbursed for it. 

We where not reimbursed for the interest on our deposit that was accumulated in there account for four months. 

During the rental period we pointed out many of the issues with the property:

* The front door and  frame damaged  and unsafe to use, because of the strong wind.

* Lighting in spare room was not working.

* The vacuum  cleaner did not work.

* Many loose tiles in the apartment was dangerous.

* Main bedroom carpet was very dirty as we moved in.

* Legs of bed in the main bedroom was broken and off on the one side.

* Heating frame for drying towels in main bathroom does not work.

* Light in shower in main bedroom did not work.

* Table top in main bathroom discolored and damaged.

* Many pieces of items kitchenware was chipped.

* Carpet in front of television was dirty and unsanitary. 

* Red couch in the lounge was dirty.

* Grey couch in the lounge is dirty and one of the side legs is broken off.

* All the bedsheets are discolored yellow and show there age.

We pointed this out to:

Then she became very disrespectful. She was very hostile and became very aggressive.

When we pointed out the follow errors she dismissed our concerns and told us that she was aware of the already. None of the errors in the apartment was repaired when we where there.

Eugenie Strydom of Lifegro Property Solutions and the Renette Reyneke the Rental Administrator are not to be trusted they are NOT Honourable people. 

They where dishonest, disrespectful and showed a massive lack of integrity. 

We belive that they where looking for many reasons not to pay back our deposit.

This apartment is well appointed on the 7th floor of the Ocean View Apartments, Strand, Cape Town. The view and the amenities are excellent but the people you have to deal with when there is any issue or problem is very frustrating and painful.
