The Lift Superstore DBA Total Automotive Lifting Solutions Inc. I was charged a significant sum of money for installation of a car lift that never happened Oakville Ontario

I contacted the company for installation of a Single Post Platform Parking lift in our garage. They refused to come over for the estimate and asked for my own measurements instead.  Also, I was asked to pay upfront for the service or they will not proceed, so I paid in full in advance.

Contractors came over month later and they told me they would not be able to install the lift because the base of the post would not feet. I have never seen an actual lift.

The company refused to make any adjustments and offered a refund. However, they deducted $1,751.50 as payment for the delivery and installation. Just to be clear – there was no terms in our agreement that allowed them to act like that.

What is more, they claim it was my fault the lift did not fit because I “did not visit the store to check the materials prior to production.” Liars. I know nothing about the installation process in order to understand would they be able to install it or not. It was their job and their responsibility to consider every technical detail for Installation of the lift. And then they made me pay for their negligence.

If you do not want to deal with dishonest business owner, go somewhere else. In any case, never pay a full amount until the job is done because those guys have no honour.They put a $1,750.50 price tag on their business reputation.

Another company installed the same type of a lift for me without any problem. And I was not asked to pay in advance. So, Beware.
