Linda, Manager Alexander Crossing Apts St. Anton Multifamily aka Anton Capitol This manager lied and misled apt. Rent and availability and refused to put us on an affordable waitlist Napa CA

The name of the Company is Anton Capitol, or Anton MultiFamily.  The apts. are Alexander Crossing Napa, CA.  

We were notified that Alexander Crossing Apts. was taking names for waitlist for affordable apts.. I called and spoke with Linda, manager, and she said there was not a wait list.  We asked to view an apartment and Linda made an appointment to view the model. She said she had market rate units available, and we needed to move.

When we arrived at the scheduled time.  The office was locked and Linda was not answering the phone, but someone was inside the office sitting at a desk and the person looked at us and then ignored us.

 We decided to walk around the property to get a feel for the place.  We asked a person identified as a tenant where Linda was...the tenant said, "Good luck, the Manager is difficult".  The tenant seemed the be sincere, but it was evident he did not recommend this manager.  He also said, "the apts. are loud and the appliances malfunction".  Oh...whoops..maybe we asked the wrong person.

We passed the garbage area and there were...seriously...loads of garbage piled in the area...outside the container, so no person could get inside the area.  Another tenant walked by and tossed his bag in the area and said, "You think they would do something about this".  We noted pest control for rats and a live rat in the garbage area.  Ewe...told my husband, were not moving here.

A loud car, with music (Bass) blaring sped past us and squealed to a stop. Then, a young lady began yelling at the passnger in the car.  Ghetto style.

We asked a person lying at what looked like a well maintained pool if she knew if the manager was on the propery or when she might return.  She said" The manager does what she feels like doing.  She takes long breaks.  You can try to wait, but you might want to know, we are moving out soon.  Linda,manager, is rude, she is not helping us and her friends live in the affordable apts.."

WOW!  So, the company advised we add to the waitlist for an affordable apt...that it seems does not exist...according to Linda, who was evasive about the existance of a list and then said there were no affordable apts. available.  But, we asked to place our names on a waitlist?  So, we thought we had a chance at an affordable apartment in what seemed like an okay place until we toured ourselves through the complex, because Linda did not show.  Our walk through the complex confirmed we should not live there.

My husband later called Linda, who denied an appointment was ever made and as he ststed, "She (Linda) was extremely cold and communicated as if she was a member of a cult or something"  We laughed when we later learned through friends in Napa she was somehow associated with "Access Consciousness"...a Scientology like "org.".  Based on the management communication we got...seems real and weird.

Walnut Creek is a better place to live than Napa and the managers we communicated with kept us up to date about the affordable waitlists.  We have a nice affordable place managed by responsible people.

We were denied the opportunity to add our names to a waitlist for an affordable apt. and this is the only complex that told us that waitlists for affordable apts. do not exist.
