The Lipsey Law Firm LLC Theodritch Lipsey Theo is a Liar, fraud and money grabbing scam artist Tampa Florida

I hired Theo Lipsey 01-25-2022 for a complicated divorce case involving myself, a minor and soon to be ex wife. I Called Theo approximately 10:00 am in which he did not return my call until 7:00 pm, so i proceeded to explain my situation to Theo he had great ideas and explained how “aggressive” he is with litigation. Well that is far from the truth, Theo had emailed over the invoice of $4000 retainer and sign the contract.

I have signed the contract and paid half $2000 the next morning, I called Theo to see what the next step is with no answer, but he was in “court” A few days had gone by in which i had to call numerous times to speak to speak with Theo in which he replied in text “he needed more info to file papers” Theo then called me that Friday took all my info but did not file suite until the following week. (why did he wait so long).

That was the last i heard from Theo for 3 weeks, I have called/text several times left voicemails no return calls or texts.Theo then calls me for the second time after i got hit with a TRO from my wife i had to call 4 times in a row in which Theo responds “ Im not in town i can’t help you”. Theo then calls back 2 hours later stating “we need to get her served”.

Well yeah no kidding he should have done that a month ago when he filed suite then should have hired a P.I. or process server if my wife could not be located. Not wait a month with no answer, when Theo had  spoke with me the second time in a month he had a very nasty attitude like i was bothering him, and hung up on me.

Theo then lied to me about the price, in text he says i owe him $418 to file the paperwork then $45 for process server but then sends me a bill for $418+125…what happened to $45??? Also what did i pay $2000 retainer for?? Theo is saying i owe money when he has not touched the retainer.

Theo also stated i owe him $1000 more to handle the TRO case in which he said to text him witnesses he needs to interview, i did that and yet again no response from Theo nor did he contact any of my witnesses he disappeared. I believe Theo is a liar and a fraud and should be investigated. I am also turning this over to the BAR association!!
