WOW, what can I say! RUN! Kimball is a used car salesman who will say anything to get you to sign up. He told me pictures were one of the most important things for ranking and all my sites like Expedia, Booking.com, and more were high end. He proceeded to pull across pictures (when he did not have to) that were super low quality and then refused to fix it. He lied to VRBO about who we used for processing and made me sign up for stripe to force through the implementation with them. Kimball told me that we would NEVER have a charge with stripe and then we did. It cost me a fortune to process those charges and they are still holding $5000 of my money because we are not an established account with them.
O I'm just getting started!!
The transition was a nightmare.
Kimball specifically said, RNS (my reservation software company) is a joke and the most difficult people to work with, and those were the kind words he had to say about a reputable company. But that is Kimball's "MO" - Everything that was an issue in our transactions was NEVER his fault.
Kimball lied about everything! From what they could do for us to costs and credit card systems, and set up cost; you name it.
The first 4 bookings were double bookings and the last was a double with the conflicting one being one from Kimball's system.
I lasted 3 weeks, and have a months worth of work to correct all the issues Kimball created in VRBO and AIRBNB from bookings to pictures being to small.
Within 2 days of switching we went from booking like crazy to NOTHING and I showed them the graphs from those systems.
There are numerous issues here, non-disclosure of fees and costs, non-disclosure of how things are being processed and what’s gonna be done. Stripe has all kinds of fees that I was not told about . Their training and follow up is absolutely horrendous and when something goes wrong Kimmel blames everybody else, the extranet and me personally; it’s never his fault I could go on and on and on and on but I have to tell you that I feel that Kimball is just a used car salesman and just wants to get the deal closed and will tell you anything you want to hear.
It was his words that said that pictures mean a lot to the sites, he knew that rental network software had low resolution pictures based on the way your system is set up and yet he let it process out to all the groups that I had great pictures with that are now all low resolution I’ve got hundreds of hours of work to do to get back to where I was before he got his hands on my system.
It’s an absolute nightmare. The worst part is how he disrespected RNS, me and everyone outside of HIM! STAAH is my channel manager, $399 a month and they connect to more groups than Lodgable with the 3.9% +++ fees. Staah can connect to software (API) as well. They have an APP for management, and even without the direct connection to RNS they are simple to use.
He should have reimbursed me for my time and the hundreds of hours to correct all his mistakes, but when approached he was silent. NO RESPONSE!
Whatever you do Do NOT use Lodgable or trust Kimball.
