Complaint Review: LUCKYVITAMIN.COM - Conshohocken PENNSYLVANIA
LUCKYVITAMIN.COM PLACED AN ORDER ON LUCKVITAMIN.COM ALMOST TWO WEEKS AGO MY CREDIT CARD HAS BEEN CHARGED BUT MY ORDER IS NOT PROCESSED AND LUCKYVITAMIN SAYS THEY HAVEN'T RECEIVED PAYMENT YET AND THEY ARE NOT TAKING ANY KIND OF RESPONSIBILITY OR HELPING. Conshohocken PENNSYLVANIA
This is to bring to your kind attention the problems with ordering online on Lucky Vitamin’s website from India. I placed an order to the amount of approximately $690 USD on 11th of November 2020. The money was charged to my credit card immediately after placing the order but till date my order has not been processed and I have been told by Lucky Vitamin customer service that they have not received the funds.
My experience with Lucky Vitamin’s customer service has been absolutely terrible, in particular customer service agent Mark C, whom I chatted with on November 18th. Upon enquiring about the status of my order, he continuously kept putting the blame on their payment gateway company called Cashfree Payments and the fact that Lucky Vitamin has not received the funds yet. When I asked if they could not contact their own chosen payment gateway partner and sort the issue out and find out what the problem is he blamed India by saying –
All other countries allow direct credit cards – it is only your country that has provided this option to make payment through our website
I felt uncomfortable and offended by the way he was conversing with me instead of trying and helping to solve the problem. I asked him what has India got to do with Lucky Vitamin choosing Cashfree Payment as their go to payment gateway partner – I am sure India has not forced Lucky Vitamin to choose Cashfree Payments Company as their payment gateway partner . I also asked him how come I can frequently place orders with iHerb.com and Vitacost.com without facing any problems and he had no answer for that.
As I did not feel that he was helping me solve the problem, I requested him to give me the contact details for their payment gateway partner (Cashfree Payments) so that I could talk to them myself and try and figure out what the problem was and where my money was stuck and I was told that Lucky Vitamin did not have any contact details to their own payment gateway partner. Not receiving any help or information from Lucky Vitamin, I had to find out on my own who this Cashfree payment company is and where they are based and made contact with them myself. When I finally contacted Cashfree Payments and told what had happened they confirmed that the payment has been successfully transferred to the merchant (Lucky Vitamin) They also provided me with a transaction ID and order ID. But Lucky Vitamin still claims they have not received the payment and refuse to confirm my order or refund my money.
As a customer ordering on Lucky Vitamin’s website, I feel it should not be my responsibility to find out the details about their payment partners and to top it all a unhelpful, unfriendly customer service agent who blames my country for this problem and not being any help at all.
I honestly do not know whom to turn to, to get my money back (which has been now stuck for about two weeks) as Lucky Vitamin is not taking any responsibility even though I gave my credit card details and placed the order on Lucky Vitamin’s website.
I have never encountered such a situation in all my years of ordering online from the USA and I sincerely do not wish anybody else to be in this same situation with Lucky Vitamin.
