Lumber River Trading/True Value Hardware POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Lumberton NC

Al is a HORRIBLE store manager and his employees emulate his poor behavior.  Before driving to this store,  I called to see if they sold the item.  I spoke with Al whom told me yes and it cost $7 a bag because they were trying to get rid of it.  Upon my arrival, was I to know that Al meant the outside display was the above range and not the inside items.  I paid for the items at the above price and on my way outside the store noticed the display items. 

Ironically I was charged the large display price of $7 and not the $5 display price. Of course,  I wanted the difference and would have purchases even more. Then here comes Al putting his hands on my buggy to have my items rung up at the inside store price.  I said no you're not with my hands on the buggy.  He then told his employee to take the items back out if the buggy and take them back inside store.  Al told me to call the police if I wanted to. 

Believe me---I'm mad because I didn't; receipt in hand for my PURCHASED merchandise.  Finally,  l left the premises and I got home and called the Lumberton Watch Commander about my experience.  I agree with the Watch Commander--that this store want get anymore of my business.  If I could rate this store TRIPLE ZEROES the entire store TRULY EARNED THAT PLUS LESS!!

  1.  Allow me to purchase the items as quoted to me by Al over the phone and according to my discovery upon exiting the store. 2.  For my troubles also pay for two round trip fuelings from my home to their business address.  3.  Because of Al's unprofessionalism, expect when I return that I will have a police civil escort near.
