Buyer beware.  This company literally sells garbage.  I bought a table saw, a power drain auger and an 80" projection screen.  They were listed by Mac Bid as "open box" items.  Open box means something entirely different to Mac Bid than it does to the rest of the world.  Open box to Mac Bid is a license to sell garbage.  Literal garbage.  The table saw looked like it had been on the job site for years.  It was covered with paint, the blade was destroyed, the table was rusty, the fence had grooves in it from contacting the blade and the stand and blade guard were missing.  The power auger would extend but not retract.  The auger had lumps of toilet paper stuck in it.  The projection screen had folds in it and the retraction mechanism was missing.   They state that every item is reviewed so they can identify the proper category.  Apparently none of these items were  considered damaged.

Mac says this about damaged items:

Items marked "Damaged" indicate that they could come from a multitude of circumstances - shelf pulls, overstock, customer returns, (CHECK), or any other means. Damaged items could be incomplete, (CHECK) and have not be tested for functionality, (CHECK).

Somehow the items they likely recovered from a dumpster somewhere didn't qualify.

Save your pennies and buy new.

Reading comprehension

Their description of open box items says they may be damaged, may not work, and may be missing parts. They also say you need to inspect the items before bidding. That would have uncovered the problems you describe.

Selling garbage part 2

You clealry didn't bother to even spend 30 seconds reading my comment.  All 3 items are absolutely broken.  All of them.  Useless garbage.  Mac Bid sells garbage under the deliberateley deceptive guise of "open box".

So...

You clearly didn't bother to even spend 30 seconds reading their website. ------ Open box: the item has been opened and we cannot guarantee that is complete or in working condition. Please inspect prior to bidding. Regardless of how diligent we try to be, we strongly encourage you personally inspect the item to make your own determination as to condition, description and fitness for your intended use. ------- Sounds like a accurate description of what you got. The item isn't broken per SE but it is not complete and not new. If you wanted something that was in good condition you should have looked for "like new" items. Even then I wouldn't pay much, since people usually return stuff for a reason. And they clearly disclose all these items are returns and are not new.
