She has taken more than 30k from me to invest in a restaurant she has never intended to start. I wish I've done research on her prior to doing the investment. I trusted her because she was a friend of a friend. He thought she was legit.

This has taught me do your research even if they are a friend of a friend. After sending her money. You wouldn't hear from her for months. And always come up with this BS about a arms length closing. It was over a year before I realized she was arrested for scamming. I've attached the link.

She acted so nice and trys to act like you're family. Shows you photos of false docs that look so real of your investment. So it gets you off her back. And yu don't hear from her for months again.

That money was an inheritence. Money my parents worked hard for. Money was tight with me. And she promised I would more than double my money in a year. Don't trust her no matter how friendly she tries to be. She's good at getting your gaurd down. This was the second time that I know of that she's been arrested for the same thing.

Do not let her earn your trust. She will quickly take your money. Making it sound how urgent it is for you to invest. Then later very difficult to get a hold of her.  Beware.
