Mr Matthew refused to make payment after completing Job,
EDGEWATER, NEW JERSEY,
I’m an Outdoor furniture assembler,
I had a job on EDGEWATER NJ which I had to cancel due to extra work and also unsafe conditions, Mr Matthew wanted his pergola to be assembled on the ROOF on one of his Penthouse, I explained him I only do backyard installation and he offered me $500 bucks to do the assembling on the top floor.
For example a 13 Ft. W x 13 Ft. D Aluminum Pergola
Takes me about 5 to 6 hours installing but with the extra work taking it piece by pieces to the top 5th floor
Now it will take me 2 days to get it done which I explained Mr Matthew and he’s just offering money to get his job done,
Next day I called him and also send pictures from before and after. He just refused to pay what we had agreed reason why I had to end up reporting him and his company ,
Also I had to remove all old furnitures where the installation had to be assembled,
2nd day of the job tenants wasn’t home and keep me waiting outside for more than 4 hours ,
This report is just to advise contractors who probably (Mantra Home Staging & Design) try to hires. just stay aware of people like this guy Matthew and always ask for payment before starting any job,
and do not proceed with any job unless you get paid before doing anything for Mantra Home Staging & Design,
It was a complete sham and waste of time, money and effort doing all that extra work for this guy,.
•If you are reading this make sure to keep your word as a man and stop hiding just to get away with people wages, the way you sound on the phone I thought you were a man that kept his words,•
