MARIO'S TREE SERVICE/ MIKE AMICONE Mike Amicone received deposit for tree removal job HARRISON TWP. MICHIGAN

On Friday, November 12, 2021 Mike Amicone came to our door about a removal of a tree in our front yard. We had spoken to him 2 years prior when he was with a tree removal company taking large limbs from the neighbors tree across the street. We spoke and he quoted us a resonable price, asked for a deposit ($$$) which we obliged and we signed a contract for the work. On Saturday 13th, he returned with a ladder and a small chain saw and began to trim one of the tree's, we inquired about his crew and he replied that they would be here when he took down the tree entirely.

Monday 15th, Mike returned and before I saw him he began sawing into a 50 foot tree with a chain saw, when I did see him I immediately went outside and demanded that he stop as he was alone, no crew, nothing. He approached me and proceeded to inform me how long he had been cutting trees ect, that his crew would be here when he was ready to cut the tree up once he dropped it, to which I explained to him that he couldn't drop the tree in the middle of the street or the  neighbors yard because it might damage their house and, he couldn't do the job alone with no crew, he replied that he would be back tomorrow (Tuesday 16th) with his crew and take the tree down and haul the brush away and cut up the wood in 18 inch sections for firewood.

I agreed, and he left, I walked over to the tree in the front yard and saw that he had cut a large V section out of the frontof the  tree, compromising the integrity of the tree and making it unsafe and a safety hazard for us and our neighbors. So now we have to shell out a few thousanddollars to have this tree removed that if he hadn't of cut into it could have waited until another time.
