Martin Lake Resort Never Canceled membership after Snow gave us a week to think about joining. Called the next day, he never canceled and now I have a collection for $6,053. Biloxi Mississippi

In the Summer of 2016 My late fiance and I went to a meeting at Martin's Lake Resort to possibly become members. At the end of our tour Jerry Snow had us fill out a "check list" stating he went over all the ins and outs of membership.

Snow informed us of how much our fees would be and we told him we could not afford it. He gave us a week to discuss it. The next morning I called and talked to his secretary and informed her we definitely would not be able to join due to our financial situation at this time. She apologized and said she would let Snow know and he will take care of it. I figured that was the end of that.

A few years later I checked my credit report and there was a collection for $6,053 from Bayside Recovery Service for Martin's Lake Resort that was opened almost a year and a half later on Oct. 25th 2017. I tried to get into with Bayside Recovery and they basically told me I was outta luck because the "check list" I was told I was signing was a contract and it was never canceled by Snow.
