On March 4th 2021, Mr. Madewell requested an Estimate for a Move-out Cleaning of his property located (((REDACTED))) in College Station, Tx.  On March 4th 2021, Mr. Madewell approved our Estimate #567 where it clearly states the services to be provided, our 24hr Call Back Policy and our No Refund Policy once the services has been approved and provided.

On March 5th 2021 we performed the job and officially communicated to Mr. Madewell the service completion along with attached pictures of the After Services for his assessment. However, Mr. Madewell never intended to communicate back with our Company afterwards, only to "dermand" $100 refund on March 7th at 7:45pm alleging that future homeowners were not happy with the cleaning and that he had to go and re-clean baseboards, ceiling fans, walls and floors.

Keep in mind that Mr. Madewell never made any effort to communicate with us regarding any issue and if so, giving us the opportunity to assess the claim and proceed according to approved Estimate.  All of the issues mentioned 2 days later by Mr. Madewell respond to the fact that his approved Estimate included "dusting" baseboards, ceiling fans etc and not "washing" of these items since that package is more expensive.

It is worth mentioning that the Basic Package approved by Mr. Madewell does not include any type of cleaning of the walls of the house since that was another "disatisfaction matter" expressed on his email.

It has been our Company experience that, customers like Mr. Madewell, are the ones who assume that after the fact they agreed to pay for a service, then are entitled to pick and choose what the job is worth according to their own entitlement.

Attached to this, you will find the email exchange between Mr. Madewell and our Company where it is very clear that he never intended to clarify/rectify any misunderstanding but rather to demand a refund never offered.

The behavior exhibited by Choice Cleaning Services in this report mirrors their cleaning services--which is to say both are very poor.

Jenny Hobson at Choice Cleaning Services is a dishonest businesswoman. In the attached estimate, the items not completed are underlined in red. Half of the services promised were not completed. This is why I requested a partial refund--half of the services were not completed. I did not "demand" a refund.

This was my first time hiring a cleaning service and decided to support a local business during the pandemic. I had to travel out of town for work the day of and day after the cleaning, so I was unable to inspect the work within their 24-hour policy. Being a local business, I figured that they would honor their work at the 48 hour mark since the house was vacant so it's not like the house would have changed after the service.

It became clear that the company does the bare minimum to appear clean in photos sent to the customer, then hiding behind their 24-hour policy.

I left a brief one-star Google review (photo attached) stating that the cleaners did not complete what was stated in the estimate and that I would not recommend the company based on what I had seen. Yesterday, someone else left a much further in-depth one-star review (photo attached) that outlines essentially the exact same experience. I'm sure Ms. Hobson finally saw the reviews after the most recent negative review and decided to go on the offensive.

Choice Cleaning Services will provide an estimate for a job, not complete most of the job, then threaten to "expose" you (going as far as to find my employer and email them this report) if you post a negative review about them. I am well within my rights to share a negative experience about a company. That's the whole point of public Google reviews.

I will say one positive thing about Choice Cleaning Services--they cleaned the stove and toilets well.

At the time of the complaint I did not realize that dusting of the walls was not in the estimate. That's on me. I only took a couple of pictures of the "after" because I didn't realize it would be such a hassle to deal with this company. I probably should have been more composed in my initial email requesting a solution to the poor cleaning, however we were upset with the poor service and had to go back and clean our home after the soon-to-be residents saw how dirty it was post-cleaning.

I would be more than happy to sit down and talk with Ms. Hobson to further discuss any "unsubstantiated claims".
