I strongly caution anyone against using Maverick Payments. Our experience has been nothing short of appalling and riddled with dishonesty, lack of transparency, and outright unethical practices. Here’s what we endured:

1. Deceptive Fees: Maverick Payments consistently misrepresented their fees. What was promised during onboarding was vastly different from what we were actually charged, leaving us paying significantly more than anticipated.

2. Unjustified Reserve Fund Practices: They held over $60,000 of our hard-earned money in a reserve fund despite the fact that we had been a customer in good standing for over a year, with less than $3,000 in chargebacks during that entire period. This ratio of chargebacks is well below industry standards, and there was absolutely no justification for such a punitive reserve requirement.

3. Manipulative Delay Tactics: When we attempted to recover our funds, Maverick Payments informed us that we would need to submit a formal request and then wait three additional months to access the money. This delay is clearly an intentional tactic to withhold funds unreasonably and harm businesses reliant on cash flow.

4. Complete Lack of Service: Beyond their financial misconduct, their customer service is non-existent. Requests for support, clarification, or any type of assistance were met with evasion and unfulfilled promises.
