Maya prepaid $60 for her hair appointment via our online booking system, which clearly states that a deposit is required. Our website provides options for a haircut, wash, and blowout at $130; Maya selected the $60 option. Upon her arrival, she requested a hair wash and subsequently asked for a blowout after her haircut. It is common knowledge that these additional services incur extra charges. When informed by the stylist that the total would be $150, Maya expressed dissatisfaction with the pricing. Both the stylist and another staff member took the time to explain the breakdown of her $60 deposit and the total cost. Despite her initial concerns, Maya left our salon visibly pleased and even tipped the stylist $25.
Unfortunately, she later posted a misleading one-star review. We promptly addressed her review with a video clip showcasing her hairstyle. Maya has since lodged complaints with Yelp and YouTube, failing to acknowledge her misrepresentation of our services and her behavior during the visit.
