McKevitt Fiat Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram McKevitt FCA McKevitt Fiat of Berkeley Misrepresented the purchase price of a lease buyout for a Fiat500e Berkeley California

This dealership made a false representation on the price of a lease buyout and stuck me with an additional $3,500 charge from Chrysler Capital on the mileage overage, as well as damage to my credit as they did not even process the final lease payments. In 2019 when my car lease was up, there were additional fees associated with a mileage overage.

The sales associate told me that if I purchased the car out at the agreed upon price which was over $3K above market value for a Fiat500e at below 30k miles which mine was not(100K), that the fees would be taken care of. In fact what the dealership did do was purchase the car at Auction, and did not purchase the car at market value + a dealer buyout.

It was only much later did I discover that the sales associate essentially lied to me that the fees would be covered, after receiving multiple dings to my credit report for unpaid lease fees many months later. I've called and spoken with the dealership many times, and they continue to say they will handle this, but as I have begun to realize they don't even bother picking up the phone to Chrysler Capital.

It has been incredibly frustrating to resolve this issue, and real damage has been done to myself financially as a result of this bold faced misrepresentation of a business transaction.
