Michael Hauer solicited me (loan officer) to buy leads that he said he generated through google ads. The offer is 400 leads for $800 to be paid via Zelle. He said he was formerly employed by Hartland or Heartland Mortgage but that it went out of business a couple of years ago. He sounds professional and quite frankly sounds like a nice guy. His spiel is convincing. Thank you everyone who took time to post their experience on this website because I was going to give him a try. Fortunately I took an extra moment to do a quick internet search. If anyone out there in cyberspace says Michael Hauer helped them originate mortgage then please post a rebuttal.

Aloha and thank you for this posting. Just spoke to Michael. He seems like a very nice person and genuine. I asked him why he didn't have any recommendations on his LinkedIn page. He said he didn't know how to set that up. If he was a telemarketing supervisor for Hartland for years as he claims hee was, with over 50 employees, he should have some reviews plus some reviews of his current marketing efforts. I see another poster a few years ago had the same story that Hartland went out of business. He told me they went out of business a few months ago, he lost his job, he lost his wife and two dogs and that he has Huntington's disease. He is a real tear-jerker, marketing scammer for sure. Again, thanks for posting and thank goodness I used my old recruiting methods to double check on him.
