Michael James MacInnis was introduced to me by a contact of mine who met him while they were serving together on a board for a major public construction development in Ottawa, Ontario. In 2020 Michael hired my Calgary company to build a website for his C To C HR company he was starting - it was part of a grand scheme under another company of his, Canadian Investor Training - to open hundreds of franchise-like operations around the globe to service SME businesses.

He apparently is a wealthy individual, who lives in or near Ottawa (Orleans perhaps), with a solid finance background (I now find his supposed expertise very hard to believe). Payment arrangements were never once kept - he constantly made excuses ie: money being transferred from a brokerage in USA was being held up etc etc etc - yawn (I got very tired of hearing the excuses pile up).   Although he was very, very happy with the website and branding that my company created, he continued to use it to attract investors while simply ignoring all requests and then 'demands' for payment.

Bottomline is he never paid me a nickle so, after finding multiple scam reports about him, on August 27, 2020 I took down the website which was hosted at:  www.CtoCHR.com (no longer there of course until he maybe gets some other poor sucker to rebuild it) .  I found a lot of very serious complaints about him dating back to 2011 and the patterns of his behaviour listed in those complaints are EXACTLY what I've experienced. Based on the reports I found, I doubt anyone is left unscathed if they've had the misfortune of dealing with Michael James MacInnis.  I'm building an online community of websites and social media to promote "Michael MacInnis" and his history which will link to all of the scam reports from people who've reported to have been scammed by Michael.
