Minimal Modular Modern Designs LLC I paid $17779 on 9/11/22, no services were rendered 9 1/2 months later. Denver Colorado

I paid this company (Major Morgan)  for $17,779.35 back on 9/11/22.  It is now 9 1/2 months later and no work was done, not even a permit was achieved.  I fired Major on 6/23/23.  I asked for a refund because no work was ever completed and he said "we don't give refunds".  Major was continuously late to meetings and at times never showed or communicated with us to say he would not attend.  He did not even begin to hire an Engineer to provide the City with drawings until 2/6/2023.  This was for a 10 x 10 addition onto our house(from the kitchen).  When Major applied with the City for a Permit, he listed the addition as a Sunroom(which is was not.  Major also input the data in the City site listing himself as the Owner and not Myself and my Wife. (thus causing me to talk to the City to get me and my Wife's name back on the registration for our house)  There was a time not long after Major received my check that he wanted to break groud on the project, without a Permit.  I have since hired a Lawyer to try to get my $ back.  My Lawyer has asked numerous times for them to provide us with proof of work and my Lawyer has not received what he has asked for.  Major and his Lawyer have now chosen to ignore our requests.  I am now going to sue this company via Civil Court.  I STRONGLY advise people to think twice before using this company for ANY work they may want done.
