I was excited to try Mint Denistry because I hear their radio ads all the time & they always sound positive & the ads make it SOUND very affordable. I need to have a deep cleaning on my teeth so I called on Monday - I don't have dental insurance - & I was told about the program they have for dental insurance for $30 a month through United Health Care. I was told after purchasing my insurance that my first bill with Mint shouldn't cost more than $10 which sounded too good to be true but I went along with it.
I went Wed. morning for my x-rays, exam, & what I expected to be my teeth cleaning. Well, the prices were OUTRAGEOUS! They wanted $800 to do my teeth plus $2400 to give me 2 crowns. SO I would have spent $3000 basically just to have my teeth cleaned! I could NOT believe it.
I just feel that their ads are extremely misleading & I left feeling very disillusioned & disappointed.
They were friendly & professional & all of that but the price was just ridiculous.

When was the last time you had your teeth cleaned or saw a dentist?? Don't get me wrong these Mint Dentistry people spend alot on billboards and ads in Dallas so I would not see them for I have a dentist I trust.
Just a question because I did not see a dentist for years and developed alot of issues that I had to pay out of pocket for even with insurance.
