Things started out well enough with the first vacation we booked through them in November 2020.  When Jaime Martinez called in Dec 2020 with "a deal" we thought sure why not?  We had the previous good experience.  But, I guess good con men lure you in with the first deal, right?  We booked the 3 travel items we had for 2021 and paid up front.  A total of $4389.00.

The first trip was to be a Spring Break trip to Destin, Florida with the kids (8 & 10).  We get to the airport April 26th and we have NO airline tickets in the system!  We show them our supposed confirmation from Jaime.  Nope, no tickets.  Mr. Martinez doesn't answer phone or emails; in fact calls say number no longer working.  Texts go through but no reply.  We call the hotel; yes they have our reservation; yes there is a card on file.  We say OK, but we have to drive as there are no flights available.  We get to Florida the next day, exhausted.  Then we find out Mr. Martinez's card was declined and they gave our room away, but can put us in the last room in the hotel.  OK, we do that and have to pay for it.  The vacation is salvaged and we go home.  So we paid Martinez once and then had to pay for it all again.  Plus, I had to eat the car rental of $700 because I did that online and it was non-refundable. 

After two and half weeks of sending insults over text Martinez finally replies.  Not so much as a sorry is offered.  I say we want our money back for all the trips.  Martinez says they will refund the $991.00 for the Florida trip and that the second trip is already booked and he can send confirmations if we will just go ahead and use it.  We finally agree to use the second booked trip and say give us the $991. Also, cancel the 3rd trip and refund that money.  We will stick with trip number two.  He did send flight confirmations and we kept checking them. 

Trip number two was a trip to Washington to see my 93 year old Uncle and his wife.  With much anxiety we go to the airport in KC and take off fine.  We land in Portland, OR to find a voicemail from Martinez saying there is a problem with the hotel that was supposed to already be booked because we had paid for in December.  This trip was in May.  Anyway, I call the hotel and talk to the clerk.  She said the card is declined.  Says Mr .Martinez told her to "just let us check in anyway and he would fix it".  I have a statement from her.  She tells us we need to pay if we are going to still stay at this lovely hotel in Camas, WA.  So, I pay the $535.00 charge.  Again, I inform Martinez how angry we are and we expect the $991 and this money to be returned now. 

We finish our visit and head back to the Portland, OR airport.  We try to check in and can't.  See the agent.  In the time we had been in Washington area Mr. Martinez's card was charged back for our airline tickets.  If we wanted to fly home we had to pay for the tickets AGAIN.  What are our choices?  We pay up. 

Upon return we inform Martinez we want the full $1641 for the two trips we paid for in December and we sure as heck want to cancel the November Mexico trip and want that $2748 back too.  I opened disputes with the credit card company (Barclays Mastercard) but they are useless to provide help.  "Work with the merchant to get your refund" is all they offer in way of help.  Martinez keeps saying he will refund our money but NEVER follows through.  I even offer to let him pay it back in installments.  Not one dime yet.  It is now August 2021 and I still don't have a refund.  I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacted the fraud unit in Minneapolis.  But, just never ever do business with this criminal.  You will wind up paying twice!

The reason I mentioned time shares is that is how they found us.  His sale of our Krystal membership went even worse than their travel planning and the deal fell through as Mr. Martinez never produced the funds to close the deal after 13 months.  We wound up losing $1080 on that because we still paid our fee to use the property for our weeks assured we would get it back on the close of the sale.  We didn't use the week as the closing was always just around the corner.

I opened a complaint with the Better Business Bureau that serves Minneapolis.  They can't enforce any law but they try to mitigate the situation to no avail.

By the way, I cannot find them listed as a tenant in the property they have on their website.

Do not give Mr. Martinez or his company any money.

Still want my refund.

Update: Many months and dozens of broken promises from this company later and I still don't have my refund of $2748.  Also, still trying to get the credit card company to intervene again on my behalf.  Barclays did refund my $1641 from the first failed trips and charged it back to him, but made me wait until after November 2021 and our trip that I had to pay for everything again concluded. 

Mr. Jaime Martinez never made good on the travel arrangements of course and then through much negotiation wanted us to sign an NDA and contract and remove comments from the web.  We agreed and sent the documents to the address HE provided.  Guess what?  Undeliverable. 

No such address or business there.  HE said send it to a friend of his.  So, I spent another $13 to do that.  It arrived, he never signed it and sent it back with the first payment.  He doesn't want to give me a legitimate address as he knows I will server him papers for a lawsuit in small claims. 

He is a disgusting human being.  Has repeatedly promised to make payments, send the money, etc. He never follows through.  AVOID with extreme prejuidice.  My ratings is -5 stars as zero simply is not low enough.

Update on Recycle Your Timeshare Now Scammer - 12/23/2021

Since last I posted:

Mr. Martinez requested an NDA and Settlement Agreement be drawn up and then he would refund my money and I would amend these comments to reflect that happening.  We typed up the documents and signed them in front of a notary at our bank and mailed them off.  Yet, he provided us with a FALSE and UNDELIVERABLE address the first time.  Then he provided us with the address of a "friend" and that did go through successfully. 

Since I had contacted the Attorney General's of Minnesota and Missouri he was pretending compliance.  He has never signed and returned the NDA or Settlement agreement.  Meanwhile I still had two cases open with Barclay Mastercard and in this time period they refunded $1641 of my original $4389 because of the proof I provided of his scammy and poor business practices.  They didn't want to take action on the other $2748 yet because it was September and that money was for a trip still two months away in November. 

Mr. Martinez still had a chance to refund or provide services I paid for and they took a wait and see approach.  Well to no one's surprise he still neither refunded my money nor provided the trip.  I paid for the trip out of my pocket again using resources on the Web.  Mr. Martinez continued to offer excuse after excuse and lie after lie for refunding my money.  "It is coming Friday."  "Please wait until Monday."  "My mother in Mexico passed away."  "I am getting a loan tomorrow, Friday, Monday, insert next lie here."  

Anyway, I am STILL waiting for my refund from Mr. Martinez.  But, I have also contacted Barclay Mastercard again for them to review my case for the $2748 since the trip has now passed.  I provided all the same evidence again.

My recommendation to all is to AVOID this website, travel planning, timeshare sales of and Mr. Jaime Martinez expressly as you will in all likelihood experience the same scamming and poor business practices that we have gone through with him.

 His rebuttal is proof why you don't want to work with him or his company. I have to admit I like it when the person who is trying to rip you off posts evidence that just supports the exact allegations you are making against him and his company! His "evidence” is an interesting hodgepodge of stuff I sent him mostly and way out of context. First, as stated the first trip we took in November 2020 was successful. Why else would we have agreed to more travel with this company?

Jaime called with his "deal” in December 2020. That is when we booked the three trips. Two which are now in the past and utter disasters. One is still future. We don’t want it. As you might imagine being stranded in southern Mexico would not be fun. 1st trip – Florida. March 2021. No airline tickets were waiting when we got to airport. He had sent us a screen grab weeks prior of what looked like confirmations. They weren’t. We had no tickets. That is why we had to drive to Florida.

Why would I rent a non-refundable $700 dollar rental car IN FLORIDA if I was DRIVING to Florida??? You can see the charge in the first pics I posted. And I will post a couple pics of the drive to Florida with two disappointed children that were expecting their first plane ride. Why would there be Florida hotel charges if I had the suite I had paid for back in December? Doesn’t make sense right? I had to pay because his credit card that was holding the room was declined. The text he shows where I ask if his mother knows is a criminal is the one that finally got him to respond two weeks after we got back from Florida. It was silence up until then.

2nd trip – Camas, Washington (9 miles from Portland) April 2021. Yes, we flew out OK. Landed with voicemail from Mr. Martinez that he has a problem with the hotel. I will post the letter the hotel clerk lady gave us about how he acted and treated her on the phone. You can see where I had to pay for the hotel in my first pics. Why would I do that if it had already been paid by Mr. Martinez with the funds we gave him in December 2020. You can clearly see where I had to pay Alaska Airlines for tickets to get back on May 5th from Portland. I had to pay because his card was charged back by the airline after we landed. We had to get home to work so I had no choice.

Yup, I opened two disputes with Barclay’s MasterCard and they were no help. All they did was give me a temporary credit while they "investigated”. I mistakenly thought at first his company had done the right thing and returned our money. It was just the temporary credit. All Barclay’s said was that I had to work with the merchant to get my money back. They took the credits off and rebilled me the charges. You can see it in my pics I posted the first time. The merchant (Mr. Martinez) still refuses to refund our money. He seems to be under the halfwit impression that this was some sort of legal proceeding. It wasn’t. It was just me asking my credit card company for help with a scammer.

Can’t tell you how disappointed I am with their lack of assistance. We have NEVER changed any travel plans with him once we told him what we wanted and paid for it. His prices are cheap because you won’t get what you paid for so it is all profit for him. He did post screenshots from our successful 2020 trip to Mexico if you look closely at the dates. That trip was prior to both the failed trips. He lies so much he can’t keep any of this straight in his head how it went down. I am lucky to have a girlfriend who takes notes. And the money he has taken from us is a significant amount for a single mother of two.

I can’t post the number of just outright lies he texted me about how my refunds were being processed by his company’s accounting department and how he was going to lose his job, yada, yada, yada as the phone I have doesn’t have all those texts anymore and they are just too many to post. The posting he put up of Villas Tiburon with an April 2021 date is ridiculous. He makes reservations, he just doesn’t pay for them. And to top it off, those are the wrong dates. As I mentioned, he lies so much he can’t recall details correctly.

Our upcoming November 2021 trip we paid him for had a different set of dates, locations and itinerary. The problem being that he can’t remember what it was and just spins this ”reservation” up. He is a loathsome and tiresome individual. The part he posts about our time share deal with him is not germane to this post. Simply another deal he failed to put together. It failed because he did not fund the contract and after 13 months now still hasn’t transferred the money that would have closed the deal. The contract had a timeliness clause which I invoked and said that we were done. Commerce MasterCard was a great help and did take back the money from him that we had paid for that disaster ($3340).

I have filed complaints here, with the Minnesota AG, with the Missouri AG, with the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau and contacted the Minneapolis Fraud Unit. This would be silly of me to do these things without rock solid proof. Just stay far away from this company and this Mr. Martinez.

Dale Richardson from Missouri is a total liar! We provided the travel services to him always. 

He booked trips to mexico and the US through our company many times. The first one was to Mexico, he took his trip without a problem at all. ( he paid a very low price for all his services). Then he booked and paid for other trips.

Here's how he operates: He takes the trips, starting with the flights, then, when he gets to the resort, he claims that he doesn't like it, then tries to having us changing everything. Then he makes a scene, and finally he returns and ask for his money back. Even that we booked and paid for all his travels, HE DISPUTED, and he has his money back in a couple of disputes. The amount he says that we owe him, is from disputes that he lost BECAUSE WE HAVE AL THE PROOF THAT HE IS WRONG! He even tried the BBB and his complaint was removed because we proved that he is wrong.

We also offered him the resale of his timeshare property, which we did, HE IS UNDER CONTRACT. But he disputed that too, now the buyer is going to sue him because Dale Richardson is not honoring his contract. WE DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER COMPLAINT OR BAD REVIEW, Other than Dale's, why? because he's wrong. I am attaching all the proof right here that He is a liar and I really hope that his comment gets removed because he's not only  a liar, but also he's involving my name in here, I am not the company, just an employee! I am taking legal action too.
