Mt. Juliet Police officers, working with TBI agents, conducted a search and seizure connected to an individual not residing at the home. During the operation, firearms, jewelry, and cash were taken. The firearms were not properly listed in the seizure records, and evidence later surfaced — including photographs and messages — indicating that some of these firearms were reported as stolen and resold.

Over a year later, the state evidence lab confirmed possession of certain firearms, contradicting sworn statements made by an officer. Jewelry remains unaccounted for, with no official record of its location.

During the incident and subsequent interactions, officers threatened the safety of the resident’s child and family members, creating an atmosphere of intimidation. There are also allegations that law enforcement played a role in orchestrating circumstances to implicate the resident’s boyfriend in criminal activity.
