MyCustomPortraits.com My Custom Portraits MCP 100% False Advertising and a shell company

This company looks nice in their advertising but they intentionally don't disclose information and lie in their advertising and services they sell.

They don't tell you that they are a shell company that is passing through orders to a sweatshop in China.  They claim to have " Inhouse Canvas Designers" (text copied from their website) and also advertise that processing orders "usually takes 2 days, but can take up to 4 days during the holiday season" (text copied from their website). 

They will also sell expedited shipping for $9.99 for delivery within 5-7 days. The order was placed on December 16 and delivery wasn't made until the night of January 8. December 24th I requested shipping information and was told the item had been completed and was shipped. 

Then I found out it actually was packaged in China for shipping on the 25th.  It crossed the ocean into the US and had to go through US Customs before being handed over to another carrier for delivery, which turned it over to another carrier for delivery.

It was not possible to deliver this item in 5-7 days from China to the US and they know that.  They still were eager to collect extra shipping knowing it wasn't possible.  They also have said there are NO refunds at all, yet did say they would file a claim with the shipper on my behalf to get the additional shipping fees returned, but now have stopped communicating with me.

I now have a product I don't like, can no longer use, that I ordered in good-faith and paid extra for that they won't take responsibility for.  I have filed a report with my payment institution for fraud hoping to get my money back.  I'll report back and post updates as this develops.

This compay is a scam and nothing more than an order taker for a Chinese company that makes overpriced cheap goods.  Stay away.
