This is a copy of my complaint about National Credit Adjusters to the BBBc opied and pasted directly from the complaint I filed on their form.

Complaint Description:
Call from 844-534-3009 assuming number is not spoofed received call at about 2pm on 1/13/20..Said she was from "National Credit Adjusters" Claimed it was a "personal business matter", a common euphemism for a collection agency trying to collect a debt.

She asked me to verify the DOB she had which was correct and my name..when she asked me to verify the address and last 4 of my SSN I said know until she would tell me what this was about. She denied that she was a collection agency when I asked.

She gave me an address of mine that was over 6 ears old and having lived in Ca at the time it is well past the 4 year statute of limitations. I told her repeatedly that I do not give out this info or verify this info on the phone from some random call.

She asked again, I said no. She said that she would give me a number to call when I was ready to call with the info, I said no and told her the number will be blocked and that her actions were a violation of debt collecting laws. She finally gave up. I am wondering if I should also file a complaint with the CFPB.

Your Desired Resolution:
I want them to stop calling about this unknown alleged zombie debt and be informed that even if it is legitimate and even if I had the money (I am on limited income with no assets) the statute of limitations must have passed as she referred to an address of mine over 6 years old. Please so NOT give her my new address. My phone even warned me that this was a potential scam call.
