Ron Huda, working for National Holdings LLC, claimed that he could help consolidate my student loans and lower my monthly payments. Ron claimed that I need to pay 3 payments of $400.00 and then my monthly payments will drastically be lowered. After I made the three payments, I was contacted by Nelnet Student Loans claiming that my payments were past due. Nelnet informed me that National Holdings LLC had sent over the information to them so my monthly payments could be lowered, BUT the first three payments I made towards my student loans were taken directly by National Holdings LLC.
The work that National Holdings LLC claimed that the payments were going towards my student loans, but that was a lie. Nelnet informed me that ther service that National Holdings provided, even if the company was upfront and admitted that they were payments to their company, would be illegal because they provided no work and the work they could try to claim is not allowed to charged as a service.
National Holdings will not return my calls or emails.
