I am writing to formally report an incident of online fraud involving a Korean national named Kim Hyun Mi, who introduced me to a suspicious cryptocurrency trading platform called http://net.gopaxworld.com (Country Canada), which I now believe to be a fraudulent website.

Suspect Information:

• Name Used: Kim Hyun Mi
• Nationality (claimed): Korean
• Platform of Contact: Instagram and Whatsapp
• Communication Style: Friendly and persuasive – encouraged cryptocurrency investment
• Motivation: Persuaded me to deposit funds into the mentioned platform and assured me of profit. When I requested my funds back, she stopped responding.
• Phone number: +82 10-7181-8347 (Korea number but from Canada) 

What Happened:

After following Kim Hyun Mi’s recommendation, I transferred $197.5 to the site. However, once I informed the site's customer support that I no longer wished to invest and wanted my money refunded, I was falsely promised a return of funds within 24 hours. No refund has been made to this day. I now suspect that the website is fraudulent, and that Kim Hyun Mi was intentionally deceiving me as part of a scam operation.
