newyorkwigs vivi franzb xz-blue jiahong520help.zendesk.com email@example.com Received an ad via facebook about an 'Editors Pick Elite HF Synthetic Wig" that looked pretty nice. The wig I received looked NOTHING like the wig I ordered
I paid $41.00 for the wig, but the wig I received was a cheap unwearable wig that looked more like cosplay wig that you would get at Halloween for $10.00. The wihg took about 3-4 weeks to receive, which was my first clue that the wig was coming from China. I wrote several times to franzb (firstname.lastname@example.org) asking why it was taking so long to receive but never got a reply.
When I received the wig, I immediately relized I'd been scammed and wrote franzb requesting a full refund. No response. I should also mention that there were no manufacturer labels of any kind attached to the wig. But there was a card in the box that said if I had any issues I could write email@example.com. I wrote them telling them the wig was a cheap imitation and demanded a full refund. I got the following reply:
We are extremely sorry for this inconvenience.
I have checked the website that you bought the item, it did have some misleading problem. In this case, how about we provide a 20% refund of the total price of the order which is 8.58USD, and you can just keep the item. We will reflect this problem to our manager, he will fix this problem as soon as possible, and we won't let it happen again.
According to our substantial experience, it will cost you more than 20USD for shipping the product back to us, and customers need to be responsible for the returning shipping fee. And we sincerely hope you can understand and agree, also, leave a positive comment on our website.

When I declined an $8.00 refund on a $41.00 wig purchase and threatened to expose them as a scam I got the following reply.
We are so sorry to hear that you are not willing to accept this suggestion. This is the best proposal that I can provide to you, but in this case, I have checked with our manager, we would like to offer you an exceptional proposal which will be provided to you only:
1. How about we provide a 40% refund which is 17.16USD for this order.
2. Otherwise, you will cost more than 20USD for shipping the product back to us, and customers need to be responsible for the returning shipping fee.
Warm Prompt: Please do not send the item back until we authorize the return with the returning address in the email. Also, the address on the package is not our returning address, do never send the package to that address, or we will not be responsible for the loss.
Researching all these alias companies that they are using and reading that most customers do not even get a reply, I decided to accept the $17.00 offer to cut my losses.
I only wish I could attach photos of the wig I ordered vs the wig I received!
