On October 7, 2019 I ordered services for testing through notarylearningcenter.com, I paid $35.00 of what I believed to be the testing fee since their web-page indicates no "reservation fee" anywhere. Upon submitting payment at check out, I received an automated email stating I was to bring an additional $40 for  testing. After speaking with a representitive I had been directed to a link which says nothing about either additional fee's nor a "reservation" of any kind but I had only been made aware of other fee's after.

I contacted the company by phone and thru several emails about a refund and 3 days later I have not received any refund. This advertisement violates California's False Advertising Act (FAL). The advertising was false and misleading causing me to pay more than what I thought to be sufficient for services according to their false ad. Since an advertisement may also be “false” based on what it does not say this advertisement would constitute a violation of California's False Advertising Act (FAL). I am searching for other's who have encountered similar transactions with their practices to began a class action lawsuit. Damages for these types of violations are $2,500 per act.

Speaking of Moron

AUTHOR: Jim - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, October 11, 2019

You really must be this stupid.  You posted to a public website in the hope people would try to take you seriously.  You failed.  I know the requirements for being a notary in the State; I posted the link from the Secretary of State's website showing the requirement to pay $40 for the licensing fee.  You failed.

You come back here and make a fool of yourself thinking I apparently must be someone you know...  evidentally, my view of your stupidity is likely shared by others.  I mean if your intent was to make a fool of yourself - congratulations, at least you were competently able to do that.

Finally, you are looking for people who are equally as stupid as you to begin a class action lawsuit over this - without considering that a lawyer would never take on a case like this without a deep pocket like an insurance company to pay the lawyer's fee.

So here is the bottom line:  I am the public.  You are a moron.  It is that simple.  Time to go away little man...

Nice try Russel Mortimer 579 E 23rd St Upland, CA 91784 who slipped up and just exposed yourself

AUTHOR: Max - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, October 10, 2019

Maybe ignorant for paying for your false advertising website but not as stupid as you who continues to dig himself a deepr hole, clearly, "Mr. Public".  I can post where ever I please and your old a*s CANNOT do anything to stop me! I prevailed! Not failed! Get that straight. You know NOT the requirements for proper advertising rather misleading and false! You are Russel Theron Mortimer who resides at (((REDACTED)))Upland, CA (((REDACTED)))  The link I was directed to does NOT display $40 for the licensing fee idiot, if you can actually read look closer! Take off the dollar tree glasses!

I come back here to expose your company and obviously, you're either one of the individuals I've corresponded  with given the immediate reply and the exact link you send from CaliforniaNotaryExam.com in response to my inquiry (Secretary of State's LInk) no coincidence there! the same coward using a fake name JIM. Evidentally, no one cares about your ignorant rebuttal, ignorantly, you would rather only dig yourself a deeper hole and make yourself look like incredibly childish and foolish to say the least!..

Finally, I have the right to look for whomever I please, you sound like a jelous ex-wife for being just being "the public!" I've never seen the PUBLIC get invloved in business affairs instintaiously in order to reply to something so irrelevant to them in the first place. Don't shoot yourself in the foot, I think it's premature to say I don't have a case since I've already spoke with a firm, you obviously don't know me, think I won't do anything?

See Sanchez v. J.C. Christensen & Associates Inc. out of District Court litigated via pro se and I did not lose! You're not qualified discuss litigation with me. Since you're concerned about litigation, it sounds like you do not have proceeds to pay for damages given your comment, again you explose yourself  since it does not the publics interest and/or business. Nice try Russel! I'll be sure an do more exposure elsewhere since your being a stickler. You could easlily apologize and make this go away but a fool will dig deep holes.

So bottom line:  You're an idiot coawrdly hiding behind a fabricated name "JIM" Moron.  It is that simple. Your hurting from exposure and can't take the truth. I won!

Russ Mortimer/Jim? you must be the coward hiding behind this comment, too coward to reply directly to me hu? I call that idiotic! Idiot. You are too stupid to make a genuine reply.

On the last picture I posted, that photo of the $40 in red, you idiot, was the following email I received only after submitting payment, retard. Proves you know nothing but crooked business! It is in RED boldfaced at the bottom of the photo recieved by email NOT from the website, you must not know your own website? guess it sucks that much!  Learn to create a user friendly website before you open your cowardly mouth.  Legally, you need to stop violating laws like it's the thing to do.

I'm smart enough to cause you to take time out of your day and make a complete fool of yourself!! But in order to question intelligence, first you must have some to begin with.

You Cannot Be This Stupid

AUTHOR: Jim - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, October 10, 2019

Please don't ever become a notary.  You are too stupid to be a notary, and I know some pretty stupid notaries in California.

On the last picture you posted, which is the e-mail from the company confirming your reservation for taking the exam, lists a $40.00 fee for payment to the Secretary of State.  It is in RED boldfaced at the bottom of the photo.  That's the fee they're talking about you idiot.  Legally, you must be registered with the Secretary of State's Office in California as a notary in order to perform notary services.

https://www.sos.ca.gov/notary/checklist/take-exam/  Here is the link requiring the $40 fee from the CA Secretary of State website.

However, as I've already stated, you are seriously too stupid to be a notary....get a refund of your registration fees if possible.  Being a notary is above your intelligence and competence level if you missed something like this.  Go away.
