One of the rules of Odyssey House residential treatment, is the clients are not to have cash and debit cards in their rooms. A staff member at this facility, is involved in drug dealing, as they gave a client, who is developmentally disabled, and has a severe drug addiction, a debit card to keep in their possession in their room. When the client was paid, they immediately left the facility to buy drugs. Mary, a therapist there, called the family and told them that the client just left the facility out of the clear blue sky, not telling the whole story. Mary didn't inform the family that the staff member who is dealing drugs, was negligent by giving the client, who is in danger of self-harm, by having the cash or debit cards in their possession. The purpose of Odyssey House is for people suffering from addictions is to get treatment. I am writing this report, because it appears that Odyssey House, is in fact a front, a front for drug users to keep using drugs. This should be filed under fraud, and organized crime. Mary the therapist should lose her license to practice therapy, and the staff member needs to be fired too.
