Office Website Solutions David WIlson OWS did not provide the redesign of our company website as agreed Orlando , FL 32828

On September 1, 2023, I received a communication from Office Web Solution (Mina Aslam), a company that offered to redesign our company website. The proposed redesign involved replacing the content of our existing website. After several discussions, they initially quoted a price of $129.00 for the redesign, a proposal we agreed upon. However, as our conversations progressed, they persuaded me to opt for a comprehensive website overhaul for $149.99, a decision I consented to.

I was informed that the redesign process would be completed within 5 to 7 days. In light of this, I provided a deposit of $75.00 to initiate the project. Unfortunately, up to the present day, I have not witnessed any meaningful progress or received updates on the development of the project. The only content I have received consists of example pages, as demonstrated in the following link: Example Page. Upon reflection, I realize that I should have conducted more thorough research into this company. It has come to my attention that Office Web Solution lacks a physical office space and utilizes the address 3564 Avalon Park E Blvd Ste 1 PMB 2012 Orlando, FL 32828, which appears to be associated with a mailbox or similar service. The reviews on their website appear to be generic and dated back to the original setup of the website. Additionally, the individuals operating the business are represented with stock photos and only their first names.

My most recent attempt to contact the company was on September 25, 2023, when I formally requested a refund due to the absence of progress and effective communication. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any response from their end. Despite making repeated efforts to reach out through both email and text, I have encountered silence.

It is indeed frustrating to find myself in a situation where payment has been rendered for a service that remains undelivered. To address this matter, I am currently relying on the protective measures offered by PayPal, seeking to recover the deposit that was paid. However, beyond my individual case, my primary concern is to prevent other companies from falling into similar predicaments.

In hindsight, I recognize that it would have been wiser had Office Web Solution refrained from persuading me to opt for an upgrade to a project that they appear unable to execute, despite its seemingly straightforward nature. My hope is that by sharing my experience, I can contribute to the avoidance of comparable challenges for others in the future.
