I purchased an item for $80 online from OH Vault. I received an email confirming the purchase, with a order number, and informed that I'd be notified when the item shipped. The website advised purchasers that there's a delay of 5-7 days in shipping, since the company is in Asia.
14 days later, no further information, no shipping. I contacted customer service requesting an update within 24 hours regarding shipping. 36 hours after that email, no response.
The item was a Christmas gift. The link through to the item listing on the website was sent to me by an adult child. I belatedly checked the site on trustpilot.com and it has a low trust rating. [My bad for being busy with Christmas and not doing due diligence.]
At this time, I reported the situation to my credit card company, which is contacting the merchant regarding the purchase. I'm proceeding with the assumption that it's a fraudulent website.
