Travis Johnson sounded like he was an attorney, trying to get our house back from the foreclosure but he kept stalling, saying we had to wait for paperwork to go through. Then it was too late and we ended up just getting the surplus.

He is a liar and a scammer because the paperwork we signed turned out to be just for the surplus and not the illegal foreclosure or worst case eviction protection. Didn't happen!

Sounds like you didn't bother to read the papers you signed, or even check to see if this guy was actually an attorney.  It's not that shocking that you couldn't keep up your house payments.   You don't sound especially bright, sorry.
