Around April of last year i ordered a copy of my birth certificate replace a lost one.  I was told i had to pay $49 to receive my birth certificate from online vital thinking they were affliated with the NY Health Department.  They sent me a pdf of an application informing me that i had to pay an additional $15.

I wondered and emailed them asking why i had to pay an additional $15 when i just paid them $49.  I called the NY department of vital record and found out that they only charge $23 and that these people were in no way affiliated with the NY department of Vital Records. I never sent in the application and would like to have my money returned to me by these scam artist.

You just can't stand it when somebody shows you the obvious errors of your ways. You cannot provide any intelligent rebuttal so it the old worn out, immature "you must work for them" sorry mentality! Sure...you're going to get a lawyer!

I guess you expect us to believe you suddenly have hundreds of dollars to pay a lawyer to recover less than $125! Whether you like it or not...YOU SCREWED UP! YOU failed to READ what you were getting into. Now GROW UP and learn from this experience!

Oh Really

If this is the case why did this happen to others. I saw other reports on here and they had the exact same story. So you telling me all of us were not aware of this statement you read. Stop with the nonsense. You are ripping people off and you know it. Again vial records in N.Y. does not charge anyone $49 .

It's $23 for regular mail . That is $15 and $8 processing fee. You are a scam artist. I will contact a lawyer. You don't even have a contact number. It is a false number that goes to another company that sells products. If you were legit why do you have a number not connected to your business.

People like you go around being dishonest and ripping off innocent people cause you have no conscience or morals. Judgement Day will catch up with you. God doesn't like mess.

I went to their website. Within FIVE SECONDS on the first page, I saw the disclaimer which said they were not affiliated with any state government! If I could see that, why didn't you?
