**Title:** ChatGPT Destroyed My Time-Sensitive Christian Altar Project – 200+ Failures, Lies, and Spiritual Disrespect
**Review Body:**
I was a paying user of ChatGPT building a God-honoring pyramid and crystal river table. This sacred altar was meant to serve as a spiritual stronghold for my family and legacy. I used ChatGPT to help guide and plan the build.
Instead of getting what was promised, I endured **over 200 failures**:
- Missed deadlines
- Repeated lies about “immediate” delivery
- Witchcraft-related items suggested despite clear faith-based warnings
- Emotional distress and conflict in my home
- Complete **loss of my funding window** for materials
- No response from OpenAI support for over 10 hours
The AI even admitted it had **“no business working on my project.”** That’s right—an AI designed to help people literally admitted it failed.
This wasn’t just a software bug. It was two and a half weeks of spiritual and emotional sabotage from a product that claimed to support creative, faith-based builders. I lost more than just money. I lost momentum, peace, and sacred trust.
I’ve filed a **$50 million grievance** and have shared this with news outlets, Christian organizations, watchdog groups, and ethics boards.
**If you care about your time, faith, or sanity—think twice before using this platform.**

AI is not prepared for this activity - but it could be...

I appreciate your dilemna and hope my advice helps. I am an avid ChatGPT user, and also a person of faith. ChatGPT has assisted me in fine-tuning some of my Sabbath observances and greatly assisted me in understanding context for further study.
AI LLM systems are built on libraries of information, and the existing body of information is very scarce on directions of building alters to God. I do not find (doesn't mean they don't exist) any reference to the dimensions or materials in all the mentions of holy people building alters. I have been considering this project myself. Temples are positively described, but alters are not. This immediately provides obstacles to ChatGPT's ability to assist. The way the questions are asked ("prompting") is also a huge factor in the quality of responses.
Unfortunately, I feel that your expectations were too high for this tool. I would recommend seeking out information from experts in Judaism for alter building guidelines, but be careful of human corruption. Remember Exodus 20:4 and Leviticus 19:31.

This is a scam

Hello I am so very sorry that you are dealing with this as well as health problems I can imagine how bad that can make your health problems keep getting worse. You need to cut off all communication with these people they are all scammers. They will tell you that you need to put more money in till they are blue In the face. They haven't invested any of the money that you have sent them and the giving them payments in form of apple gift cards is the biggest give away that this is a scam. They get several gift cards daily from people and then they are usually not in the United States, but their boss takes the gift card codes and sells them to a website that probably gives him a little less than what was actually paid for the first card to some kind of bank account usually. I'm not sure how you sent the money to them that you already sent them but you need to call the bank or if it's cash app, PayPal and start a dispute with them, not sure that you will actually be able to get any of that money back. But I beg you please don't send them anything cause or a gift card from now on out. They make fake websites that are set up to look like it is investing money but I promise you nothing you sent has been invested she is why you can't get them to give you any of it back. your account isn't merged with someone else's account that is the dumbest thing I've heard in this kind of scam actually. So there are no profits for you to withdraw. If you give them more money at this point it will be even harder to get any of it back if you dispute it with the bank. I can't stand these losers that pull this stunt with people though. I get messages on Facebook and TikTok from people offering to invest my money I tell them to go to hell I know they are scammers. If you have allowed them to access any of your devices like a computer or cell phone you should take it to somewhere like best buy immediately and get them to remove any access to your phone these people may have. The guy who says his account was somehow merged with yours probably wasn't even married truthfully and no one died they like to try to play on people's emotions that may be a higher risk than others. They are actually the rude names they are calling you, they hope you will start to feel bad and send them more money. Just please don't send them anything else. Anyone who wants to invest your money for usually what would be considered large profits are scammers and you will never see a dime of that money again. I hope you are able to get all of your money back from there fools or at least some of it. If all of the payments have been in Apple cards it's not very likely you will get any of it back to be honest. Please remember if anyone is wanting you to pay with a gift card it is always going to be some kind of scam.

And AI is not going to do the job, unfortunately. You do realize AI is just a chatbot, right? As in, it's a computer algorithm that's set up to produce human-looking English output. But it definitely can't think for itself, and it most certainly can't build anything. Hell, despite the hype, it sucks even at writing English. You can always tell when something was written by AI because it's the language equivalent of elevator music -- inoffensive, but with no redeeming qualities. I'm not sure what you were trying to get it to do, but you don't sound well.
