On 12 July 2022 I need a flight for the next day out of UK to France. I found one on Opodo.com, filled in all required info, then, after I entered my credit card details and just before I was ready to confim, I read in small print that Opodo would keep my Credit Card information by default, but that I could go to ACCOUNTS to have it removed.

This was a lie. I contacted them through their "chat" and was told the only way I could get my credit card info removed was to fill in a tediously long, complicated legal form, which I had neither time or inclination to do as I was leaving the country in a few short hours.

This is a devious practice. I complained bitterly in the cat, demanded that they remove my credit card, and have not heard from them. If there is any misuse of my card in the future, I will know the culprit.

Opodo Edreams I had the extreme misfortune of choosing Opodo from the internet. I noticed on my online banking that there was a pending payment to Opodo for the sum of £59.99. I found the company website and found to my utter dismay that they did not have a customer service section, and instead operated a self help system where the customer is given a set of option, none of which cover money taken from a previous customers debit card without their express permission. Opodo My recent experience with Opodo is one of extreme customer service failure, failure to respond to numerous queries about my flights and lack of concern by staff on the telephone in relation to baggage I had paid for as to whether they had booked this with the relevant airline. I fly tomorrow and Opodo has still not confirmed that the hold baggage I paid them for has been booked by them with the airline. The company has just ignored my numerous contacts with it.
