A former student of Paul Mitchell Pasadena has come forward with serious allegations of sexual harassment and racial discrimination against Peggy Cao, Jayson Fernandez, and Mike Burt. The student has filed police reports and cease-and-desist letters alleging that these individuals have engaged in racially discriminatory and harassing and sexual, emotional, physical, and stalking behaviour. 

Mike Burke, a teacher from Florida who also goes by the name Michael Burt, has been named in these allegations. Peggy Cao is personal friends with Mike Burt, and multiple women have accused him of being racist and abusive. Despite being black, Jayson Fernandez has also been accused of being lazy and dropping the ball. and conspiring against students. 

In addition, Peggy Cao has been accused of violating Title IX by suspending the student immediately after she reported Mike for sexual and emotional harassment. This suspension was illegal.
