We all bought into a franchise brand expecting what we were sold. A Semi-Absentee business with proven strategies for success. What we’ve received is a chaotic money-grab where the franchisees are wildly unsuccessful. Much too often, we see another family’s finances ruined and another Prolift Location closed. Immediately after onboarding, the calamity started. Several months of "coaching calls” that provided no real strategies or processes. Then, you’re on your own. 4 brand presidents in under 2 years. Leadership at Premium Service Brands that all seem to have no control and ultimately answer to Paul Flick. So the poor decision making seems to be his own. Locations are closing frequently, but the official close dates are delayed so the FDD won’t reflect them until the following year. A brand that was at almost 100 locations is less than 1/2 that now with more closings on the way. We pay an ad fund that produces no ads. We pay a tech fee, but have just been notified we will also be charged for e-mail addresses. The only growth seems to be in the franchisees legal team as we can only assume they are expanding to squash lawsuits. Recently, the broad group was asked if there were any volunteers for discovery calls, and there were none. No one wants to be responsible for bringing another person into this failing system. I caution anyone against getting into business with PSB, Paul Flick, and Prolift Garage. I encourage anyone considering it to call 10+ of the 30-40 remaining owners and get an accurate review.
