Ralph Avallone - Convicted Felon, Fake "Patriot" Running a Contractor SCAM - Took My Money and Disappeared Boca Raton Florida

I hired Ralph Avallone to build a custom interior wall with sliding doors, expecting a professional job. Instead, I got one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor. From the start, I made it clear that the wall needed to be level, secure, and finished properly, with doors that functioned smoothly and looked clean. What I got was a disaster.

The framing was crooked, the header was completely uneven, and instead of securing things correctly, he shoved in shims and 2x4 where they didn’t belong to “make it work.” The doors didn’t line up, didn’t close right, and wall framing had massive gaps—some more than two inches—which he tried to hold together with screws! Nails and screws were left exposed, and entire sections weren’t even correctly attached. He built a wall that isn’t straight or secure and doesn’t function as it should.

He got defensive when I pointed out the obvious mistakes instead of fixing them. I gave him a chance to correct it and told him exactly what needed to be done, but instead of taking responsibility, he walked off the job, took his tools, and never came back. No explanation, no attempt to make things right. Just left me with a half-finished, poorly built mess.

I paid $4,127.50, and now I have to pay even more to have another contractor come in and fix his mistakes. When I asked for a refund for the unfinished work and materials that were never used, he told me to “F**K OFF” and refused to return a dime. This wasn’t just a bad experience but outright dishonesty and abandonment.

If you’re thinking about hiring Ralph Avallone, don’t do it. He will take your money, do a terrible job, and disappear the second you hold him accountable. Now, I’m left paying twice for a job that should have been done right the first time. He is a scammer and now preys on Non-Profits and Veterans. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the stress.
