In the beginning of October 2023 the Swift Sports Dome suspended our team including me from the league and disallowed us use of its free agent system. Sadly, I canceled the team because the facility was stacking leagues, its free agents refused to pay and I already covered three seasons worth of fees without them every helping me recover the money. They also put two sex offenders on our team which does not align with The Paranormal & Ghost Societies "Phantoms" Views and stacked out team with a bunch of thugs who thought it was okay to not abide by the teams rules which includes assaulting players on other teams. While free agents cannot be screened I had contacted the facility about this previously as a matter in fact two different directors who did not communicate with one another or the owners of the Swift Dome. 

This greatly has impacted our team as a whole and let me explain. Because of their negligence that is ten to twelve players who do not get to stay healthy or fit. That is twelve people in the community who go without playing league basketball so those are the people who are impacted the most. Something I vowed to do when I coached was to help find people who wanted to play organized sports because sports brings folks together plus its an outlet for our youths. If we are suspended or we cant take on free agents many of those guys sit on the sidelines they do not get to play, make friends, stay healthy or fit.

Then in October 2023 I  had gotten a call telling me we could no longer have a team here till next year and I would not be able to use the free agents list which is total disregard but also unfair treatment towards our team. In a sense its discrimination and a breach in their own rules since all players must have their fees in by week three or that team is suspended therefore I removed the team off the registry. Given the fact that the owners/director stack leagues anotherwards a beginner league is stacked with championship teams that score 100 points per game therefore any money invested as a team is a waste because games are fixed and so are the divisions based on favoritism but also because the facility only cares about money not members or teams. 

 
Our team has been around for many years were reputable in Sparks and Carson City never had an issue till we played for and at the Swift Dome NEVER until we dealt with owners who make up their own rules and refuse to hear my concerns as a team owner and as a coach something I have been doing for years to provide others with recreational sports and healthy exercise! So we have started a petition, discussed the failures of the facility in this video through our sports broadcast, filed with Ripoffreport and the BBB. Next step may be to get a lawyer suing the facility for discrimination since the director was aware of me having multiple medical issues such as PTSD, Autism, Anxiety ETC and the facility refused to accommodate me instead they do not understand my stance they I do not want to be around violence, thugs, sex offenders etc all which they have integrated onto our team.

Despite that factor we as a team have a right to withdraw from league if these free agents are not representing our teams views or business views we do not tolerate violence and the owner was trying to save a criminal thug even though on video he attacked multiple people including the ref. The facility also owes this team money and quite a bit of it and after seeing other faults in their basketball league system I had no choice without the facility punishing me.

The problem is that were on the brink of never playing as a team again. We had some players on injured reserve one of them had a stroke so people are recovering and some of them want to come back. But if things do not change they wont come back, this team wont come back and that is a dozen guys who may never play again since many of our players are in there 40s. If things change such as if the facility along with its respective owners are willing to meet me to hear my concerns its possible the Phantoms will return to the court if not then its a huge loss and not as much for me as it is for our players, future free agents and those that we bring on for four seasons per year. The facility does not have a right to make certain rules for certain teams

I tried going through the respective channels back in October of 2023 and was completely dismissed. Honestly the Dome should reemberuse me considering that the three seasons we played the divisions were mismatched and were stacked. I did not get the goods or services promised to me either did our players which led to frustration such as players quitting, fighting etc and that led me to using a free agent player list which brought in a bunch of bad apples. You do not advertise beginner basketball and stick college level teams in that division its fraud and the leagues are being poorly mismanaged. But their is a lack of equal rights at this facility and our team stands for that which is why we were one of the only teams with so many different ethenticities.

The only way were going to get results is not just to hit them with the petition but BBB Complaints, Ripoff Report, Our Petition at https://chng.it/K7NkVkCKZZ and of course our Sports Broadcast discussing the violations the facility had committed towards our championship basketball team which has been around for years! Many local businesses know us we have a huge fanbase and over the years we hosted many legendary players on our team so were kind of a big deal. The facility should not have the right to treat others how they do and were hoping that immediate action can change the culture within the facility even if we never play here again hopefully no other team will have to endure what our team endured and went through!

Now Lets talk about some of the Reno Sports Domes issues: Leagues Stacked, Owners Lack Communication & Directors, Courts Are To Small and Consist Of Mats Not Wood, Membership Is $30 But You Cant Use It To Practice Yet It Gives You Weight Room Access, Membership Cards Are Mandatory, Losing A Card Is $15 Even Though They Have A Digital Copy On File, Facility Does NOT Screen Free Agents, New Directors Every Week, No Call In Line For Coaches To Forfeit, Basketball Refs Play By Different Sets Of Rules, Facility Does Not Keep Track Of Score Uses Opposite Team To Do So Which Gets Botched, Scoreboards To Small Courts Child Sized, Owner Refuses To Hear New Ideals, Owner Plays Favorites, Refs Play Favorites, Leagues Are Fixed, Facility Does Not Accommodate People With Disabilities Like For Example Me Being On The Autistic Spectrum, Facility Makes Up Its Own Rules, Facility Allows Violence Does Very Little To Remedy It, Seasons Are To Short 8 Basketball Games Over 700 Dollars, Playoffs Matchups Are Fixed Based On Whoever They Chose To VS Top Seed, Schedules Are Late, Scores Are Always Wrong, No Coaches Meetings, Basketball Is Just A Money Mill Teams Are Treated Poorly, Facility Lights Far To Bright Cant See The Hoop When Shooting, Facility Only Cares About Money, Did Not Investigate My Truck Being Vandalized, Facility Not Open To New Or Other Sports, Customers Concerns Do Not Matter, Coaches Hold No Seniority, Owners Hide Behind Facilities Email Addresses In Private Matters So That The Director Reads Personal Content, Dome Does Nothing About Bullying/Abuse,  Facility Listens To Thugs/Sex Offenders and you can hear many more in the video at the top of the petition.

Remember immediate action is what will produce results the owners may not listen to our team or even me per say but they have got to listen to the public court of opinion since their business revolves around leagues, bar, food, customers etc. Poor reviews and maltreatment of its teams means they will lose funding, customers, teams etc who will end up just going elsewhere because nobody wants to be put on the back burner or treated poorly. The ONLY thing right now the Dome cares about is YOUR MONEY not the customers their is no benefits here! Think about it if you pay a membership to play in a league then why should you pay for a membership card its like double jepeordy! I am afraid that the facility will never be like the original sports dome but we can start by changing the culture going into the new year here in 2024 and hopefully one day The Phantoms Basketball team will rise again! 

What it really boils down to is they own our team, its players and especially me an heartfelt apology. It was not right how we were treated after playing three seasons here. We had a good team that went through struggles and they just would not listen or help me out. They sided with players abuses me as the head coach, the teams code of conduct and had no respect for the process. I believe that the owners should always get both sides of the story because our final season here was full of players who were all friends which means they are willing to lie but also for one another!

I demand an apology, reinstate of our basketball team and at least three players per season off the free agency list. Is it allot to ask? NO but we have to start somewhere to make an impact so we can get our team back to where it was and make things right for them which is why you should sign our pretition! Without any kind of free agent access our lights will be snuffed out for good given the fact that we have older players some which are nursing injuries so we must fight for our right to play but also have the same features any other team has access to since this is a league!
