Rent-A-Wreck Fraudulent damage claim, unsafe location, fake fees Orlando Florida

Despite showing proof of insurance and a chat transcript from my insurer confirming my coverage transfers to rentals, I was forced to pay a $20/day “admin fee” for declining their insurance. After paperwork, my kids and I sat in the lobby for over an hour with no communication—only to have an employee point to a car outside as if I should’ve known it was mine. The lobby felt unsafe, with women loitering who appeared to be sex workers, making things extremely uncomfortable.

No one inspected the car with me; it had many dings, and I noted all deep ones. On return, they demanded $500 for a tiny scuff—clearly there at pickup—that could be buffed out easily (photo of $500 “damage” attached).

Predatory, unprofessional, and scammy. Never again.
