Extremely aggressive sales of illegitimate, potentially dangerous cosmetic products. I purchased $4,556.20 worth of products that are not healthy for me to use. The store ignored my disease and sold me a facial light product. Used these products on my skin because I was made to believe this was a legitimate facial. Facial done in back room with no sink or face mask on employee.

My credit card was taken in this same back room where I was never told my purchase was non-refundable. Selling product warranties. No refund is shown on my receipt but noticed too late. Credit card I am now positive was swiped twice on purpose for me to sign two merchant copies. All product websites are faulty. All employees lie about corporate office or management because there is none.

Full story below:

I just moved down from New York and decided to take a stroll downtown. I was lured in by a clever sales girl named Maya, who offered me free soap samples to get me in the door, Her fellow salesman was very forward with compliments of my appearance. She told me to come in because she needed to wrap the soap in Saran Wrap so it wouldn’t melt. Then asking me to try an eye cream and skin peel. She asked me a few questions, I was not willing to make the purchase and was ready to leave, so she lowered the prices and then took me behind her computer counter to show me the true price of the products and how low she was giving them to me for.

She then offered me a free cellulite cream and a free facial voucher. I was told in order to have a facial because they have no facial pamphlets, I needed to purchase products for a free facial voucher with one of their top estheticians. She put it all in a bag for me and held out her hand, I felt as if I had to buy it. We made an appointment that upcoming week for my facial. Funny how depressed I’ve been due to Covid that it felt I was doing something right for myself and self care. Boy was I in for a suprise. I left to only be texted that I could come in later that day to have my facial done by one of their best. I came back for my appointment.

Was taken to a back room to wait for my facial, A new sales girl told me I was about to be seen by one of the best in the USA with skin care and offered me wine, vodka, or gin. I refused the beverage. The girl named Sahar came in to do my facial, not wearing a face mask and asked me to remove mine. There was no sink inside the room so she used cotton balls to remove mask products, I assumed everything was as should. She used products on my face, one of which apparently has caviar in it, a blue light and red light facial wand. I asked her with autoimmune disease is it safe for the skin and eyes, should I be wearing googles. She told me no, its very safe and continued her process. (She denies this conversation but to what occurred too late to me was even if it was miscommunicated, shouldn't this be a question to ask in the first place or medical background paperwork before a facial?)

Sahar then told me I could purchase this Red LED facial light machine. I wasn’t ready to spend that kind of money and asked about single session facials. She told me very firmly that her time is very expensive and does not do single purchase facial sessions to keep her facials and advise more one on one with her clients. Offering me that if I purchased the Perfectio X LED medical grade product myself, I could do my own treatments and check in with her every three months and she would send me free Introstem/Noella/Celestolite products and took my address and had me sign off on free shipping. I’d be one of "her trial women and have her be my advisor on my skin to have perfect skin like a commercial."

She dumped over 7 products on my lap and I said ok to the mid grade price machine. Lowest LED product $1000, mid $2600. Third $5000. She then charged my card in the back room and told me wait, "Let me check our point system to get you an even better deal." She (like Maya) also took me to look at their computer to show me the most expensive product and that their company made over $43,000 today in sales and that Saturdays are great days so She could take those earned sales points and offer me the top grade machine for even less. And since its a medical grade machine I would get my tax back.

I must have lost my mind by now having been there for over an 1hr 15mins for a facial appointment, I said ok. She then took me into the back room once again to charge my card again. I was very confused but she told me ill give you a single itemized receipt. Then Telling me she gave me the lifetime warranty price and that is what makes the price more expensive and If i ever have issues or am unhappy she is my advisor and will fix it immediately. She even had me do the warranty on her computer with her as if it was apart of something special and legitimate.

I left feeling alright amount my decision until I heard her say “done” to her co-worker. By the time I reached my boyfriends car, it started to hit me that I spent money I didnt even have because they caught me in the right emotional state and the sale was so aggressive I could not say no. I honestly didnt have the heart to tell my boyfriend, family, or friends what happened because I felt so stupid, and so far from myself after what had happened. (Now everyone knows)  I went home to open my LED Perfectio X and read the user manual, turns out I can not use this product due to my Systemic Lupus erythematosus.

I then took more time to research all my products and find no legitimate website for their products. She told me my LED facial light even has an app as shown on box, which in reality it does not. My mind completely opened with my experience. All employees telling me people with cancer use these products, in reality I was sold and purchased a product I could not safely use and they ignored my medical background and just flew with the fact that I never had a facial done before. I went back to Resveralife the next day to get a refund based on the fact that I physically could not use the machine based on my health and was concerned about my facial appointment.

For a blue and red light machine was used on my skin. I asked for a manager. I was awkwardly hit on by one of the male employees as Every employee singly went to the back office to see if the manager was in and would come back out to ignore that i originally asked the question. Till i had to repeat and show my existence,  being rudely told they did not have access to refunds and I’d need to speak with Sahar and the manager. Luckily I texted Maya earlier that morning in case this would occur to ask her for the managers number. I left to call them both Naor and Sahar, and was given extremely aggressive attitudes, telling me they are a huge corporation and I’d need to reach out to corporate, they don’t give refunds and absolutely no one had any clue to what my disease was.

Sahar was very upset I even called Naor because he is not a manger and I broke her trust. I ended that call extremely confused. Asking why was she yelling at me, her client, did she not understand I was put in danger using these products? I wanted my money back. She told me she would research my disease and get me products that would work for me. I repeatedly asked for my money back, wanting nothing to do with anymore of their products. Manager and Sahar told me to reach out to customer service on all products. Nothing made sense, so  I went again back to my products websites and they all have faulty customer service programs and some don’t even exist!

I spoke with the manager again to be given the phone number to the corporate office. He in turn gave me the phone number to the Resveralife shop on king street and said to ask for customer service. I went back once again with my boyfriend to request a full refund, they called the cops on us, all their employees except two grabbed their things and fled the building before the cops arrived. We noticed them up the street at their other location Tresor Rare. I stood on the sidewalk for hours till an employee named Tomas told me to dispute the charge on my credit card for he wanted to resolve this situation peacefully and would do his best on his end. We left and I am still waiting to be refunded. This place is a disgrace.

Stay far away. No No refund signs, if there is they move it around or hide it, no employees show or tell their last name, no ticket prices on products, they probably dont use a facial pamphlet or offer single sessions becuase they dont have an actual license to do facials or anything they claim to be nor a liquor license to offer me alcohol before my appointment. Once your Credit Card is swiped, you've officially been scammed. Something must be done about these stores.
