In Feb 2021 went to ride4u in stpete in desprete need of car after my last one was totaled by the insurance company. The salesmen had us test drive the 2017 Malibu insuring me the car was great no issues it was one of the cars on the lot they personally owned so he knew it was great.  i test drove it told my sons dad something was wrong it would shut off the salesmen stated it was from the hybrid fuel it was no biggie. so being that i was so desprete & the car had a warranty & he said it was ok if something happens its covered.

I trusted him yet from day one knew it was something just didnt know what as he kept reassuring me it was nothing so  i did the mass air flow & a few other small things as that is what was being read on the check engine light report. So i took the car to chevy they did 2 checks finally the 2nd found the piston was bad the main one & it had been that way & the engine was not going to last much longer. there warranty company refuses to cover the issue so i call the lot speak to the same guy who promissed this was nothing major & his reply was " YOUR A BIG GIRL I AM SURE YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT?

Now mind you i owe 17k on this car & cant trade it in ill never pay another car off i am stuck the car shuts off when you come to stop sometimes starts right back & sometimes its hours.. I want anyone to be aware this place does not have morals does not car they just want to make the sale

You agreed to purchase a vehicle that you knew had issues. Then, your extended warranty claim was declined because the warranty does not cover preexisting issues.

This was totally avoidable. You Bilked Yourself.

“desprete” is not a word. Desperate is a word.
