Robert Coons III Theft of $814 by Robert Coons III. Fraud. Financial Crimes! San Diego CA

One Sunday morning, June 18th, at about 9am, Robert Coons III stole $814.00 from me, Judah Michael.

We had an explicit verbal and written contract/agreement, wherein, as an independent contractor (service worker) I was hiring him to perform the task of purchasing and delivering two (2) appliances, in exchange for payment at the end of the day. This was spelled out in explicit detail via text and calls, of which there are records.

Immediately after receiving the $814 (via Venmo) for the purchase of the appliances, Robert Coons III shut off his phone. He never showed up to purchase or deliver the appliances as agreed. No response to dozens of attempts to contact via

2. phone voice mail

3. email AND facebook messenger

4. Venmo refund request 

5. Craigslist post asking him to contact me

6. San Diego Police missing persons report (case # 23501537)

Robert Coons III is 6 foot 5 inches tall, 300 pounds, African American. Personable disposition. Has facial hair and to my knowledge no visible tattoos. date of birth is 12.17.1993. He's 29 as of this report. He was in his brother's red Ford F-150 at the time of the theft. License plate # 8U72352. VIN # 1FTPW12538KB80778. Robert's license # is [redacted] His passport number is [redacted] He also changed his Venmo name, but not his venmo handle - @laylalove11. His Facebook hasn't been updated since 2018 but you can find him at facebook.com/robert.coons2. 

Robert lives on Kingswood Street in the Paradise Hills area of San Diego. He claims to be going to school to get his contracting license. He stole $815 from me, and refuses to make any effort to return it or contact me. His phone number is (or was) 619.348.3156. The San Diego police report for his theft is T23015893.
