Rockler Woodworking and Hardware CONTINUES TO SELL A PRODUCT THEY KNOW IS DEFECTIVE. Concord California

Rockler had to have hired a dyslexic engineering dropout to mis-design this part. Other reviewers note that a slip coupling smaller on the inside than the outside of the fittings it is supposed to join, is a failure. While trying to install the first of the six on which I wasted $30, I broke with bare hands Rockler's two-port plastic manifold (2.5"). I wrote to Rockler three days ago describing the problem and requesting reimbursement for the replacement part I ordered, but so far . . . silence. Maybe too embarrassed to admit such stupidity? Please note the accompanying image with mic'd specifications and DO NOT BUY these. At least not to use for joining 2.5" fittings. Free to share this review far and wide.

A follow-up question: How does one disconnect a Rockler Dust Rite coupling from Rockler Dust Right fittings? Wait a while — it will disconnect itself by splitting. Rockler would include this fact of physics in their item description IF THEY CARED.
