Salon LDJ is a scam. Deceitful Practices/Rude Managment Pleasant View Tennessee

First off I do not reccommend anyone go here or support this shady salon. My husband  and I were charged for services I did not receive and on top of that my hair was severly damaged Baily Truex. I left my app. with wet snarly hair, was unsure of results but just trusted the process. We both questioned the amount we had paid. we did not get a receipt either, puzzled and confused we walked out then realizing we were just scammed. I walked out with nothing done to my hair as requested..and it wasnt until it dried later that day that I could see the damage and lack of any requested service done to it. 

I reached out to Lisa Bennett (Manager) about this matter promptly but she refused to communicate with me after I requested a receipt and asked for a solution for the false charges and damages to my hair. 

I tried calling and leaving a message. Sent her detailed exlanation of what happened via email and many pictures of my damaged hair. Before and after. I never got a response or a call back so my husband went to the salon and asked for a receipt. Lisa was at the desk and got defensive and rude at him for no reason. She said we dont have a print out receipt and we dont except refunds. My husband left there with no receipt. I did get one via email later that day but it did not add up or match any pricing on the website or what was discussed in email and there were charges here I never received.

I booked an appointment for a color. The appointment confirmation was for a color only but I did not receive any color. I only received a botched highlight job of "only" a few random strands and a toner that was uneven and barely made any difference that has been washed out within a few showers leaving my hair dull. I was there for 3 hours for this. Waited with highlights in way too long. Toner was only in my hair for under 10 minutes and shampoo to rinse it out that only made the damage worse. Shampoo was not supposed to be used on my hair. Explain to me how that takes 3 hours? it doesnt. They were milking my time to charge me more and I did not realize until after I researched salon services. Apart of my statement I sent to Lisa amd the bank. The only response I got from her was.."Did you ask how much it would cost".... 

...who says that in response? ..that is the only communication I got from her after this app. My husband and I did not mind paying that kind of money for a hair job(done properly).. it was a birthday present for me.

For the shampoo,cut and style charges:  I never received anything but a trim under 8 minutes that was suppose to be apart of the color process. I never received any styling. I left with wet snarly hair.  I never received a proper consultation. No quotes of any charges. 

For the color and foil charges:  I never received any quoted consultation nor received a color and all over foils. I received a temporary toner that did a minor subtle fade that took 15 minutes from start to finish. A botched, incomplete highlight job of only a few tiny pieces of hair on the top of my head that was left in too long and turned white as in pictures attatched. It would not even be close to catagorized as an 85$ partial foil.  On top of that it damaged my hair because it was done incorrectly and left in too long.   

Not only were we falsly charged and disrespected,...Bailey who did my hair did not communicate while I was waiting and she left the building while I had highlights still in my hair.  I also told her I use a comb or fingers to detangle my curly hair but she did not listen and used a brush which added to the damage. Bailey did not know what she was doing and ruined my hair.  

I trusted her expertise. My mistake. I learned the hard way and since this experience have studied all about hair and whats right and wrong. It's sad when my husband and I know more about hair than a so called professional salon does. This was a pure con and upsale run by unprofessionals with no real hair skills that just wanted a quick buck. I now know what really happened and I wont be fooled again. How this place stays in business is beyond me. Lisa is unfortunately a fake person, she was nice to my face but when I reached out to her she was a different person and we both saw her true self through this experience. The salon has been under investigation and we have been refunded at least half of the money they falsly charged so far. If they get a dime it would be unjustified but at least now they have been reported and hopefully wont be able to scam more people like they did us.    

We were more than willing to pay that amount of money for the actual services. We tried to negotiate politely with Lisa even though we did nothing wrong but she didnt care and the salon would not cooperate in any way. I recommend people find another salon that cares about you as a customer and as a human being.
